This large terraced house overlooks Porthminster Beach and enjoys magnificent views of St. Ives Harbour and bay. Spacious accommodation suitable for two families and just a short walk to Porthminster Beach.

Front entrance up 6 steps into Hall. Large Lounge with stunning sea view, TV, DVD player, music system and open fire. Integral Dining area with access to the Kitchen/Breakfast room including gas hob, electric double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Back door leads up steep steps to the parking for one car. First Floor: Bedroom with sea view and 3ft bed. Master bedroom with sea view and 5ft bed. Bedroom with 4ft 6in bed. Bathroom including separate shower and wc. Utility room with washing machine and drier. Second Floor: Bedroom with view and 5ft bed. Bedroom with 3ft bunks. Bathroom including wc. Basement/playroom with slate floor, table tennis table and separate wc.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Cot provided, please bring your own cot linen.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. No pets. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies. Restricted headroom in Bedroom 4 due to sloping eaves. Parking for 1 car at the rear of the property accessed via a narrow lane - limited turning space. Visitors must bring own linen for cot.

Access Statement

PROPERTY NAME: 4 Draycott Terrace


PARKING: Private parking space in road behind property, 9 very steep steps down with handrail  then 2 steps down with no hand rail then a further 5 steps with a hand rail on the left hand side plus then 12 steps with hand rail on right to rear door of property . All these steps are very steep and would recommend people with walking difficulties use the front entrance by walking around to the front of the property via the slope at the end of the terrace,

ACCESS TO PROPERTY: For loading and un-loading we would recommend pulling up at the front of the property and takign luggare up the front 7 steps.

PROPERTY ACCESS: 7 steps up concrete steps from street level to front door, handrail on the right.


STAIRS/STEPS: From the ground floor hall landing there are 11 stairs down to the lower ground floor games room.

From the ground floor hall landing there are 8 stairs up to a half landing, straight ahead there are a further 4 stairs leading to the laundy and bathrooms. Back at the half landing there is a turn step and then 1 further step to another 1/2 landing, then a further 5 stairs to 1st floor landing which leads to 3 bedrooms.

From the 1st floor landing there is a further staircase of 8 stairs to the 2nd floor the 3 steps up to the bathroom and the single bedroom on the right and 6 stairs up to 2 bedrooms.

FLOORING: The kitchen floor is tiled, the upper bathroom has cork tiles there is carpet in the lounge, hall stairs, landing and bedrooms

BEDROOMS: Bunk beds have ladders. Access around beds is good except for the attic double where access is from one side only and the sloping ceiling gives restricted headroom. Access to one side of the bed only in the single bedroom.


BATHROOMS: Shower cubical requires two steps up to get into cubical. Upper bathroom has bath only.

LIVING AREA: Curtains to windows and an open fireplace 

GARDEN/EXTERNAL AREAS: Very small patio at front of playroom and a small decked area on top of kitchen with limited access.

CHILD EQUIPMENT: Cot provided.

PETS: Not Accepted. Please enquire on booking regarding assistance dogs


Brilliant location, views out of this world. Very spacious and everything to a very high standard. Perfect for a large family group.
