Situated on a quiet street in a secluded part of Downalong, this spacious grade II listed former fisherman's cottage is in easy reach of the shops, restaurants and sandy beaches. A stylish period property but with modern facilities make it the perfect holiday retreat. Cars can easily pull up outside to unload and it is suitable for both summer and winter occupancy. In normal circumstances the nearby reserved parking space gives guests total freedom to come and go throughout the day.
Ground Floor: Open plan country kitchen with oak worktop, double electric oven, gas hob, extractor, dishwasher, 2 fridges, microwave and washer/drier. Large lounge with gas cast iron stove, Smart TV, DVD player, integrated CD player/DAB radio and Ipod dock audio system. First Floor: Bedroom with 4ft 6in bed and wall mounted TV/DVD player. Bedroom with 2 x 3ft beds. Bedroom with 4ft bed. Large bathroom with shower over bath, wash basin, wc and heated towel rail. All bedrooms are carpeted and there is a storage cupboard on the landing.
Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 7:00pm - departure 9:00am.
Pets Welcome: Maximum 2 dogs from October to March.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the price. Central heating.
Parking: Price includes a reserved parking space for 1 car (permit required), located approx. 100 m away, overlooking Porthgwidden Beach
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.2 ml.

Was thoroughly impressed with both St Ives holidays and the cottage was in a good location with every item imaginable in the kitchen and parking space a bonus.
The house we stayed in was everything we hoped for. The service from St Ives Holidays was very good and the website very easy to use.
it was probably the best accomodation we've had in 9 visits to St Ives!
