This spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment has a commanding view of St. Ives Bay and is a short walk to Carbis Bay Beach. The branch line railway station with service to St Ives is a 5 minute walk away. Or, take the Southwest Coastal Path from the bottom of the garden to St Ives in about 35 minutes.  This single-level first floor flat is accessed at the rear of the flat, down three steps from road level.

Kitchen: Electric cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer.
Bedroom 1: Double bed (4’6), 2 bedside tables with drawers, fitted wardrobe and cabinet with dressing table, chest of drawers. En Suite Shower Room: Shower cubicle, wc and wash basin, heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3'), bedside table with drawers, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobe with dressing table.
Bathroom: Shower over bath, wash basin, wc. Heated towel rail.

GARDEN AND PARKING:. Front sloping communal terrace garden, laid to lawn with folding garden chairs. Parking port for one car in a private car park opposite the entrance to the flats.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Night storage heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen, towels, bath mats, two tea towels and oven cloth provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.

PARKING: Parking for 1 car in car port on opposite side of the road.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY:
From the parking area, walk across the road and down a steeply sloped tarmac driveway (no handrail) or a staircase (with handrail) to the courtyard. From the courtyard there are 3 steps down to the front door of the flat with a handrail on the left hand side. It is possible to pull up in the courtyard for unloading but do not leave your vehicle unattended

The property is level throughout but with raised thresholds of 1/2" to 1" at entrance, bedroom and bathroom doors.

FLOORING:
There is fitted carpet throughout except in the bathroom and kitchen which have lino flooring.

Carbis Bay is an Excellent location, lovely clean spacious apartment with fantastic views of the sea & beach. And only 5 minutes walk to the train station to St Ives. Like most holiday resorts it is Very hilly but well worth walking around to see the beautiful bays etc. St Ives is equally beautiful but can be very crowded at times. Plenty of shopping, lots of lovely beaches & walks. Leave the car at home and benefit from the fresh air and walking.

Wonderful accommodation with excellent sea views. Big picture windows. Views of St Ives Harbour, Island also the local beach and Hayle beaches. We were lucky enough to see a dolphin in the bay and also a regular seal visitor to the beach, from the window. Convenient undercover parking. Highly recommended. Great communication with Cornish Horizons. It us a comfort to know that they still look after you after you have booked.

Location

Located on the outskirts of St Ives, Carbis Bay is one of Cornwall's five award-winning Blue Flag beaches. Carbis Bay is a large sandy beach which is excellent for bathers or small children, as the waters generally always remain calm with watersports such as kayaking and stand up paddleboarding on offer.

Carbis Bay is just a short train ride to the centre of picturesque St Ives or you can take a leisurely stroll along the coastal path to St Ives, Lelant or the nearby town of Hayle. Bird watchers can walk along the east side of the beach at low tide where you'll find Porth Kidney and the RSPB bird sanctuary, an important home for seabirds.
