The beach at Carbis Bay is one of Cornwall’s hidden gems, with its white sands and turquoise waters. With high cliffs sheltering the beach, it’s also a great spot for swimming or paddleboarding. The South West Coast Path passes through Carbis Bay and you can follow it for 1 mile to St Ives, to explore the narrow streets lined with cute shops and eateries, or unwind on one of the town’s four, sandy beaches. St Ives is also a magnet for artists, and the town is teeming with galleries and studios to explore.
