This charming cottage is in the heart of St Ives, providing the perfect location for couples, families or friends looking for a relaxing holiday in a quintessentially Cornish seaside town. The property boasts a unique rooftop sunroom and terrace with panoramic views. It is less than 500 metres to walk to Porthmeor, Bamaluz and Porthgwidden beaches, where you can enjoy the day building sandcastles or indulging in your favourite water sports.

A lovely property set over three floors that is bright and inviting with beautiful furnishings that create a relaxing and homely feel. On the ground floor is a lounge/diner, which is the heart of the home and has plenty of comfortable seating to unwind and a TV for entertainment. The dining area retains a cottage feel, with exposed beams adding to the charm. The contemporary kitchen has all you need to cook up a storm. On the first floor, you’ll find a shower room, a double, and twin bedroom. On the second floor are a sunroom and a roof terrace with furniture to sit and enjoy a drink while you take in the spectacular views of Porthmeor Beach and the harbour. Although there is no outside garden, the property is centrally located to enjoy many walks from your door to the nearby beaches.

If you can tear yourself away from the delights of St Ives, there is plenty of glorious coastline and countryside to enjoy. Drive across the countryside for 12 miles, and you will reach the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole. Or head down to Penzance (8.5 miles) and then across to Carn Euny Ancient Village (15 miles) and tap into the rich local history. The South West Coast Path runs in both directions from any of the beaches in St Ives and provides a lovely walk with magnificent views of the coastline.

We had a fabulous week in St Ives, the cottage was beautiful and could not have been more conveniently located, it was only a few steps away from Porthminster Beach, the harbour and the shopping streets. The rooftop sunroom and terrace were fantastic bonuses, lovely to sit out and relax in the evenings. Great cottage in a central location. The orangery and balcony in the roof are fantastic. The view of the sunsets over porthmeor are second to none.
