Situated in the vibrant hub of St. Ives, overlooking Porthminster Beach, this fantastic apartment is an idyllic base for a romantic retreat. Within a mile from your doorstep, you’ll have access to the picturesque sandy beach, as well as the town centre where a number of fine independent shops and eateries can be found to pick up a treat during your stay. Embrace open-plan living in the main social area where two large sofas offer a place to sprawl out in the evenings to watch a film, with serene sea views and Godrevy Lighthouse viewable from the window. At the back of the space is the stylish kitchen/diner, with white gloss cabinets and a wooden table seating four where breakfast, lunch and dinner can be prepared and eaten. With splashes of blue breaking up the white walls, the master bedroom is a relaxing haven, complete with a comfortable king-size bed for sleeping and ample storage to ensure you feel fully at home. Next door is the contemporary shower room, with a double rainfall shower, a perfect place to wake yourself up in the morning.

St. Ives itself has plenty on offer, from the beaches of Porthminster and Porthgwidden to the eclectic range of art galleries including the Tate St Ives. You could easily spend a week exploring all that this charming fishing village has to offer without travelling far, or on short adventures along a stretch of the South West Coast Path where the scenery is simply stunning. Well equipped and very tastefully furnished flat with lovely views. We really enjoyed staying here. Bed very comfortable and bathroom in great condition with fantastic shower. Parking space in garage very useful. Flat in great position for Porthminster beach, train rides with fantastic views and wandering around St Ives.

We found it a lovely flat with great views and a superb bathroim. The underground parking was a bit difficult getting in and out. Could be a problem for someone with a large car.

Our stay at 14 Carrick Widden was fantastic. A really lovely and well equipped apartment with a stunning sea view from the lounge diner and overlooking Porthminster beach. The apartment was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was also very comfortable and the rainforest head shower amazing. The undergroRead moreund secure parking was a huge bonus. The apartment is in a perfect location for the beach, seafront and town centre - both less than 10 minutes walk. It is also very close to a bus stop and the rail station is 5 minutes walk. We had a lovely week in St Ives and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 14 Carrick Widden. We are already planning a return visit next year. Hide

A very well equipped and laid out property, benefitting from a lovely, big, efficient shower and a very comfortable bed in a large bedroom with plenty of cupboards and drawer space. The owners have supplied everything you could want as far as we were concerned! Absolutely fantastic to have the parking as parking is tricky in St. Ives. Fabulous viewRead mores across the Porthminster beach and easy access to the station and the beach, down some flights of steps. The road outside the lounge was a bit of a surprise as it hadnt been mentioned in other reviews and it was quite busy with all forms of transport, including double decker buses! This wouldnt stop us staying again as it is a beautiful view and a great location, but we felt it is worth noting as watching television with the windows open was tricky. That said, we didnt want to watch television as the views were lovely! We would thoroughly recommend this property and would very happily stay there again! Hide
