With views over Porthmeor Beach, this delightful second-floor apartment makes a lovely holiday retreat for couples and smaller families enjoying a relaxing break in the popular resort of St Ives. Offering ample accommodation for up to four guests, the light-filled property features a sweet mezzanine bedroom and a cheerful balcony, making an ideal retreat to unwind in after spending a fantastic day out exploring a spellbinding part of West Cornwall. Close to several glorious beaches, this stylishly decorated getaway is within easy reach of the harbour and a fabulous range of art galleries, pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Stepping into this cheery, light-filled property, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has some eye-catching artwork on the main wall, with a TV and plenty of seating over by the windows, a central dining table and a fully equipped kitchen to the rear. This main floor also features a relaxing shower room. The open-tread staircase leads up from the living area to a sweet mezzanine level over the lounge. Here you will find a cosy king-size bed and a pair of single beds, with bi-fold doors providing a useful partition. From the main living area, patio doors open onto a private balcony overlooking the beach, with a table and chairs providing an ideal spot to sit out and dine alfresco on a sunny afternoon. There’s also private access to the beach during the summer, weather permitting.

Situated on the headland known as The Island, the apartment is close to St Ives Head and is ideally positioned for exploring this historic coastal town. The bustling harbour and the beautiful Porthminster, Bamaluz and Porthgwidden beaches are all just a stroll away. St Ives is home to some magnificent art galleries, with Tate St Ives, the St Ives Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden all nearby.

We have been returning to this particular flat for something like 20 years now and there is a very good reason. Unbeatable views, direct beach access, parking, well equipped, convenient for access to amenities and always clean. Even if the weather is not good, the flat is the perfect place to watch the sea from. Well be back.

This property is ideally suited to look out across Porthmeor beach, it has easy access to the town centre and restaurants and the best of all garage parking that can fit a normal sized car. We totally enjoyed our week staying there and will be back next year.

Fantastic location, stunning views and a great holiday let. It's our second stay and we absolutely love it. So convenient for the beach, the shops and restaurants. Most importantly you have use of a garage. I would highly recommend it.
