This delightful first-floor property with a stunning sea view is perfect for couples looking for a romantic break or a peaceful holiday on the west coast of Cornwall. The property is located in St Ives, a great base for exploring the surrounding area which is full of glorious sandy beaches, clifftops and beautiful countryside. It is less than 500 metres to walk to Porthmeor Beach, St Ives Tate and the shops and eateries selling delicious fresh local produce.

This is a pretty flat, where the light, bright walls, splashes of bold colours in the decor, and coastal theme combine to create a vibrant and welcoming feel. The layout is an open-plan lounge/diner, while a neat kitchen has everything you need to whip up some romantic meals. This is a lovely couples’ retreat full of delightful touches. You can cosy up on the comfortable sofa, watch your favourite films on the TV, and enjoy the marvellous coastal vista through the large window when dining. The flat has a beautifully decorated double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There is no garden or outside space, but St Ives is on your doorstep, and Man’s Head viewpoint via the South West Coast Path or the picturesque harbour are both just half a mile away.

The Penwith Heritage Coast to the south has a rugged coastline and finishes at Land’s End (18 miles). The property was well situated for the town and was well equipped. The interior is much smaller than assumed by the pictures. The bed and sofa were not very comfortable. There is not much storage space for luggage or food. Parking is good at the back of the property and very useful. The sea views were nice.

The location is great to arrive by car since it's on top of a hill. The parking space is easy to park on with a small car (maybe less so with a van or SUV). It's about a 15 minute walk downhill to the St.Ives Harbour, it takes a bit longer uphill. The apartment is very cute and beautifully decorated. We hat enough space to cook and move around withRead more two big suitcases. There is Wifi and a Smart-TV with the BBC-iPlayer and other great Apps on it which we were very happy about. Hide

The property was as described; it proved comfortable enough and practical for me as I was staying for 3 days alone. Other than the lack of wifi and a hairdryer, it was well equipped; easy to access and a convenient location (tho that hill up from the beach is a challenge :-)) I enjoyed my stay in St Ives. Many thanks. Response from Holiday CottRead moreages - Thank you for your feedback and we're glad you enjoyed your stay in St Ives! I was holidaying alone and enjoyed this stylish and cosy space in a quiet location. Bit of a steep hill and stairs to climb so probably better for more mobile visitors.

We really loved our stay at Up in The Ayr. It is a lovely, cosy, little holiday flat which has everything that we needed for a perfect stay. And not to forget the beautiful view of the ocean. It is very clean and looks freshly renovated. We loved coming back to it after our day trips. We think staying here for couples is highly recommendable.
