Ascend the elegant spiral staircase and step into the double-height kitchen/diner. Potter in the spacious handless kitchen and rustle up a post-adventure spread then pop a bottle of bubbly. Settle around the wooden dining table for a celebratory feast bathed in the light of the large windows. Venturing upstairs to the mezzanine level, discover a cosy lounge area with squishy beanbags nestled by the arched windows – a perfect spot for unwinding with a nightcap. There is also a handy sofa bed to accommodate an extra guest. Retire to the comfortable double bedroom on the main floor styled in calming blue tones. Outside, bask in the abundance of breathtaking sandy beaches and rugged coastal paths on your doorstep.

While away sun-soaked afternoons wading through the warm waves lapping ashore at Porthminster Beach (500 metres) then tuck into a fresh seafood platter perched at the chic beach cafe. Sample a selection of local Cornish lagers at the nautical-style watering hole nestled in the heart of St Ives (500 metres) then drink in glimmering ocean views as you amble along the coastal path toward Hawkes Point (2 miles).

Sanitary system poor, toilet overflowed, downstairs permanent resident came up to complain, said shower previously has also leaked into her property. Agents acted promptly but didnt stop neighbour mentioning it when we met on stairway on occasions. Have been a regular holiday maker here but as we. Are in 70s not upto dealing with flooding.

This apartment was in a good location and very well equipped. Entrance was difficult with luggage to carry. The bathroom was a bit small. It was clean and comfortable apart from the window surrounds and the floor.

On the whole the flat is clean and comfortable, noise from the road can at times be intrusive, a better range of crockery and glassware and cooking utensils needs to be addressed

The Cottage met our needs well. Walking access with luggage from the Railway Station worked OK for us, but may not suit everyone. Carrying luggage up the 3 staircases was challenging, but we were well advised in advance, we managed it well and only had to do it once!. Location close to the centre of town was very convenient and views from the top fRead moreloor were a feature. Hide
