Reviews

Excellent property. Found lounge/kitchen a bit smaller than expecting but was cosy. Sofa didn't suit me as I've got very short legs, but comfortable when laid on.

Mr Cliff W,

I’m afraid we were rather disappointed with the accommodation. On arrival the hallway (which I appreciate is a shared area) was shabby to say the least, cracked and loose floor tiles and definitely in need of a coat of paint. Not a great first impression. The electric socket in the children’s bedroom was loose from the wall. The fridge was very smelly when opened. The sofa which I presume has been custom made to fit an awkward space was not good. The end part was not attached to the rest of the sofa and if you sat on the edge of it the whole seat came off and you ended up on the floor. The floor under the sofa was also very dirty. The apartment was also surrounded by building work both sides and it would have been helpful to have been told this prior to arrival. I have photos of all these issues should you wish to look into it further. Very disappointing stay sadly.

Ms Cathie L,

Enjoyed our stay at Traddles. Fab location, comfy stay. It was perfect for four of us and a dog. Perfect for a week of popping to the beach and in to town. Love all the little home touches. We have been coming twice a year for a long time. We found all kitchen equipment perfect. Had everything we needed.

Past Customer,

This was our first visit to St Ives and definitely not the last. We enjoyed our stay in Traddles. It's a great location, all the facilities we needed and very clean.

Past Customer,

Perfect location, you have done great furnishing the property to a high standard. We both loved it. Had meals all around St Ives around 7pm and didn't leave Traddles until 6.55pm! Absolutely perfect location. Dog friendly, only seconds to the beach. Bath with bubbles, awesome!

Mr Steve L,

Perfect location and very comfortable and clean, great value and fully recommend.

Mr Mark D,

Thank you, Traddles is a wonderful place to stay. Again, St Ives has restored my life as it always has for 40 years.

Mr Cliff W,

Lovely Stay!

Mr David R,

This was our first real friends holiday and we all had the best time. The weather has been amazing and being so close to the beach/town/activities was a huge bonus. Traddles was very well suited to us and we really appreciated the added amenities (eg biscuits, tea/coffee, wind breaker). Thank you for a great stay!

Miss Holly C,

Came to St Ives to celebrate my birthday. "Best birthday ever!" Traddles is so warm and cosy and in a perfect spot for the harbour and Sloop! Thank you!

Mr J,

Location

St Ives is one of Cornwall's top destinations and a beautiful seaside town where visitors can enjoy a traditional beach holiday with a twist. It's easy to understand why the town has been attracting painters, sculptors and ceramists for decades with its stunning scenery and natural quality of light- one of only four Tate Galleries in the world is located here in the heart of the town. The town itself arcs around the working harbour- the heart of the historic fishing community. You could lose yourself for hours in the charming cobbled streets which are crammed with gift and craft shops, art galleries, top notch restaurants and welcoming local pubs- a real treasure trove just waiting to be explored!

St Ives also has four fabulous beaches, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, Harbour beach and Porthminster which between them offer miles of golden sand and hours of building sand castles, playing in the rock pools and other family friendly activities. Dogs are welcomed out of season. Throughout the year, St Ives has a busy event calendar including the St Ives Food & Drink Festival in May and a Music & Arts Festival in September.
