This former fisherman's cottage is situated in Downalong, between The Wharf and Back Road East just 30 yards from the water's edge and with accommodation on four floors. The cottage has been attractively furnished to a high standard and retains much of its original character.

Lower Ground Floor: Stable door into kitchen/diner, gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washer/drier and dishwasher. First Floor: Lounge with double sofa bed, TV and DVD player. Cloakroom including wc. Second Floor: Rear entrance. Bathroom with shower over the bath, and wc. Bedroom with 1 x 3ft bed. Bedroom with 3ft bunk beds. Steep stairs to Third Floor (stairs may not be suitable for young children or those with restricted movement). Bedroom with 5ft bed, TV and view of the town, harbour and bay between the rooftops.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 dog, £25 per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. No WiFi. Mobile phone reception varies.

PARKING: No allocated parking , the Island Car Park is the nearest

ACCESS TO PROPERTY: If unloading on the harbour access is via a short cobbled incline by Artspace Gallery. If accessing from Island Square access is via a tarmac path leading to the rear entrance. 1 step into property.

PROPERTY ACCESS: If accessing from Mount Zion there are 5 steps from the wharf to a cobbled incline. 1 step to enter the property.  If accessing from Island Square there are 3 steps to enter the rear door.  There is a handrail on the left hand side of the steps.


STAIRS/STEPS: There are 11 steps from the kitchen to the lounge, bannister rail.  There are 10 steps from the Lounge to the landing with a handrail on the left handside.  There are 9 steep narrow steps to the attic with a handrail on the left handside.  There are 2 uneven height steps into the cloakroom off the lounge. One step is small height and the other is deep

FLOORING: There is a fitted carpet in the lounge and bedrooms, wooden flooring in the kitchen

BEDROOMS: There is restricted access around beds. Restricted headroom in the eaves in the attic room. There is a fixed ladder for the bunk beds.


BATHROOMS: There is a shower over the bath with a folding shower screen, no grab rails on the bath

LIVING AREA: There are blinds fitted in all bedrooms, curtains in the lounge.


PETS: Pets Accepted.
