Located on the top floor this comfortably furnished apartment offers panoramic views across the golden sands of Porthminster Beach to Hayle Towans, Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond. The scenic St Ives branch line, beach and town are just a few minutes walk away.

Access is up two levels from the parking area. Lounge/Kitchen/Dining area with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, TV with DVD player, double bed settee and panoramic views across St Ives Bay. Light and airy bedroom with 4ft 6ins bed. Bathroom with shower over bath, wash basin and wc. 

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Electric heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.2 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. No pets. WiFi provided. May not be suitable for 4 adults due to sofa bed. Mobile phone reception varies. Coin operated washing machine is available for guests use in the shared laundry room. Reserved parking in the open private car park accessed from the rear of the building, space No 54.

PROPERTY NAME: 54 Carrack Widden.


PARKING: Allocated parking space at the open air car park at the rear of the building acessed via Albert Road.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY: From the rear parking area: 28 Steps up to Property level with a rail on both sides.

PROPERTY ACCESS: Loading/unloading available from allocated parking space at the rear of the building.


STAIRS/STEPS: Threshold step into communal hallway. There are no internal stairs.

FLOORING: Tile kitchen, hallway and bathroom. Carpet lounge and bedroom.

BEDROOMS: Un-restricted access around the bed. Slightly restricted headroom to 1 side of the bed.


BATHROOMS: Shower over bath with partially moveable screen.

LIVING AREA: Curtains to lounge window. Blind in bedroom.



PETS: Not Accepted. Please enquire on booking regarding assistance dogs.


We have enjoyed staying at several flats at Carrack Widden over the years. Each flat is comfortable, clean and we feel at home in them all. Each one boasts a wonderful view of Porthminster Beach. We would like to say particular thanks to the caretaker who looks after the site. He is available for any queries and keeps the everything spick and span. The outside steps to each flat are kept in excellent condition. We look forward to visiting Carrack Widden again in the future.

Great location with a wonderful view over the bay. Property was clean & well equipped and was actually bigger than I was expecting from the photographs. We had an issue with the internet connection which was quickly and efficiently resolved by the local office in St Ives. Highly recommended.
