Learn to Surf with St Ives Surf School Based on Porthmeor and Porthminster beaches, St Ives Surf School are one of the most prestigious surf schools in Cornwall offering surf lessons, Kayak tours, Coasteering, stand up paddle boarding and a wide range of equipment hire for all ages and abilities.

St Ives Sailing Club offers Out of County Membership which includes use of club boats for a small donation (usually £5 per person)

Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden - Year round

Open Year round, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden is based at Trewyn studios where she worked from from 1949 until her death in 1975. The museum displays sculptures in bronze, stone and wood along with paintings, drawings and archive material.

The work of Barbara Hepworth is also on public display around town at the Malakoff, The Guildhall and Trewyn Gardens.

With a changing series of exhibitions throughout the year the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Gardens are a must for visitors to St Ives.

Porthmeor Talks 2018 - Monthly Talks

Illustrated talks jointly organised by the Borlase Smart John Wells Trust and St Ives Archive in the Borlase Smart Room at Porthmeor Studios, Back Road West, St Ives.

Usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month with talks starting at 7pm. Tickets are available in advance from Porthmeor Studios and St Ives Archive and online. They can also be purchased on the door.
