Description

In a superb location perched above the rocks directly on the waters edge Titcomb House offers a high standard of accommodation but has managed to retain many of the original features. From the window seats in the lounge and two of the bedrooms displaying fantastic views of the town, harbour and across to Godrevy Lighthouse which can be enjoyed all year round. Titcomb House is a stone's throw from the harbour and town centre offering many restaurants, bars, shops and the St Ives Tate Gallery. Close by is the stunning Porthminster beach popular with both surfers and swimmers alike. 

From the entrance off the Warren you enter the hallway. Off this is the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, stairs to the 1st floor and the downstairs bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier and under floor heating. In the lounge is a TV, DVD player, HiFi and superb far reaching views across the bay. There is a bath, separate shower cubicle, wash basin, wc, heated towel rail and under floor heating in the bathroom. Upstairs are four bedrooms, two of which have great harbour and sea views, one has a 5ft bed, wash basin, TV/DVD player, the other has a 3ft bed, wash basin, TV/DVD player. The other two rooms overlook the Warren, one with a 3ft bed, wash basin and TV and one with 2 x 3ft beds, wash basin and TV. There is also a shower room with shower, wc, wash basin and under floor heating.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 dog allowed, £25 per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Night storage heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Shop: 0.1 ml.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY:
It is possible to unload directly outside the property but do not leave your vehicle unattended as The Warren is a narrow road and is one way. The road has a tarmac surface and the front door opens directly onto it. If you park at The Station Car Park first, there are steps from the car park down onto the Warren. You will then need to walk down The Warren to the property which is distance of approximately a quarter of a mile.

PROPERTY ACCESS:
There are 2 steps up from street level to enter the property. No handrail.

There is a small step between the kitchen and the dining area. To the first floor there are 7 steps to a small landing then 5 further steps to first floor landing.

FLOORING:
There are carpets in the bedrooms and on the stairs and landing. The kitchen and bathroom have tiled floors. There is wood flooring in the living areas and hallway.

BEDROOMS:
Unrestricted access around all beds.


DUVETS AND PILLOWS: Duvets and Pillows are synthetic.

BATHROOMS:
The main bathroom has shower cubicle with sliding door. 1 step over shower tray to enter.
The shower room has a shower cubicle with front opening door. 1 step over shower tray to enter.

LIVING AREA:
There are cord pull blinds to all windows excepting the living area which has curtains.

GARDEN/EXTERNAL AREAS:
No outside area.

CHILD EQUIPMENT: Stairgate on bottom of stairs.

Lovely cottage in a superb location with everything you need. Communication was superb, the only small issue was finding how to get rid of rubbish and a complete lack of recycling but I think this was a general St Ives problem.

Perfect location with incredible views over the bay I’m close to the swimming beach. Apartment has everything you need however requires some updating. This was our second stay.
