Hideaway is a beautiful, light and airy house which benefits from a lovely private, courtyard garden which has a real Mediterranean feel. The property has been equipped and furnished to a very high standard and its secluded position just off Street-an-Pol makes it a great location for a family holiday with the shops and beaches just a short walk away. Hideaway is a true hidden gem.

From the courtyard you enter into the hallway which leads to the Open plan Kitchen/Lounge/Dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with a Gas Hob and Electric Oven, Fridge, Freezer and Microwave. In the Lounge/Dining Area there is a TV/DVD Player and recessed area housing a washing machine. Bi-fold doors open out onto the very pretty courtyard garden which has both patio furniture and comfortable seating. Also on this floor is a Shower Room with cubicle, wc and wash basin and the Master Bedroom with a Double Bed.  An open tread, spiral staircase (may not be suitable for young children or the elderly) leads to the First Floor which has two bedrooms, one with a Double Bed and TV and the other with 2x3ft single beds and a TV with DVD Player. Also on this floor is another Shower Room with cubicle, wash basin, wc and heated towel rail. The garden shed, holds beach equipment for guests to help themselves too.

Pets Welcome: 3 dogs maximum; £20 per pet per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity and heating included in the rent. Central heating.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Shop: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies. Open tread, spiral staircase may not be suitable for young children or the elderly.

PARKING: No allocated parking.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY: Access via Street an Pol, Tarmac Road. Drop off outside communal entrance courtyard.

PROPERTY ACCESS: From the road, 2 steps up from first communal courtyard area, through a gate and door with a lip into Hideaway's private courtyard area. 2 further steps to garden courtyard. Threshold step into property.


STAIRS/STEPS: From entrance hallway, 3 steps up to master bedroom, 1 step up to shower room and 2 steps up to living/kitchen area. One step from raised area to further door to garden courtyard. From living area, 13 narrow spiral open tread steps up to first floor landing with a hand rail on the on the left. From landing, 1 step down in to twin bedroom. 1 step down into shower room. One step up into double room.

FLOORING: Tile entrance hallway and shower room. Carpeted master bedroom. Tile flooring in kitchen area and a mix on wood and tile flooring in lounge/dining area. Wooden stairs, 1st floor landing and bedrooms.

BEDROOMS:  Master bedroom has narrow access down one side of the bed.


BATHROOMS: Shower cubicles with screens.

LIVING AREA: Curtains to windows in lounge area.

GARDEN/EXTERNAL AREAS: Small courtyard on entry with additional garden courtyard with patio furniture and comfortable seating.

As I have said above Hideaway was a gem of a property, the little touches of fresh flowers, wine beer & biscuits were a lovely welcoming surprise and went down well after a long journey. The courtyard really made it for us and the whole family really enjoyed chilling outside which in the past we have not been able to do as space is of a premium in St Ives, the kitchen was really well equipped with good utensils, pans etc the décor of the property was tasteful and of good quality. The staff at St Ives Holidays were very helpful polite and knowledgeable of the property we were staying at I have used them in the past and will continue to use them in the future.
