With spectacular, panoramic views around St Ives Bay, Coastguard Cottages are situated in an elevated position above the town but just a few minutes walk from the beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops which St Ives has to offer. Trehayes Haven offers comfortable, well equipped accommodation.

Pedestrian access from Trelyon Avenue. Hallway leading to the Kitchen which has an Electric Oven and Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer/Drier and Microwave. Separate Dining Room. Lounge with TV/DVD Player and panoramic views over Porthminster Beach and around the Bay. The Main Bedroom has a 5ft double bed, fitted wardrobes and spectacular views around the Bay. Ensuite with shower cubicle, wc, wash basin and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has fitted wardrobes and 2 x 3ft zip and link beds which can be joined to make a 6ft double (please advise on booking if double configuration is required). The main bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash basin, wc and heated towel rail. Outside area below in Main courtyard with furniture and drying area. Private, steep 1 acre field to front of property for use of tenants of Trehayes Haven and Am Meer only (children to be supervised at all times) with benches to enjoy the magnificent views over the town.

Trehayes Haven can be let in conjunction with Am Meer to provide accommodation for 8 people.

Changeover Day: Saturday – arrival 7:00pm - departure 9:00am.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.

NOTES: No smoking. No pets. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies. 4 Steps to the front door. On site parking for 2 cars side by side easily accessed from Trelyon Avenue.

Access Statement

PROPERTY NAME: Trehayes Haven

Property Construction: Brick faced.

PARKING:  There is allocated parking to the side of the property. The driveway is tarmac.

PROPERTY ACCESS: There are four steps up to the front door.


There are no internal stairs or steps in the property.

The property is carpeted throughout with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom which have lino.  


The bedrooms have good access, are well proportioned and there are no restrictions with headroom.


There is a shower over the bath in the main bathroom with a shower curtain, and a shower cubicle in the ensuite with a glass door.

LIVING AREA: The property has curtains rather than blinds in all rooms except the kitchen and bathroom, where there are blinds woth pull cords.

There is a lawned garden area with shared access with Am Meer.


PETS: Not Accepted


Very good location with amazing views. It was tempting to spend the entire holiday in the chair by the window with glass of wine in hand. 5 minutes walk to the beach (20 minutes back uphill!) 15 minute stroll to the shops. Easy parking and access. We had a lovely week here.
