Centrally located with breath-taking views across Porthmeor Beach and beyond to its namesake, Island View is an ideal retreat for a family holiday, with the benefit of a reserved parking space approx 10 - 15 minutes walk away.

Off the hallway is a lounge with TV and DVD player. The comfortable dining room is complete with CD player and iPod dock. The hallway leads through to the well-equipped kitchen area with double electric oven and hob, dual cook microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer just off the kitchen. There is a ground floor shower room with a wash basin, WC and heated towel rail. Stairs lead to the first floor with 3 bedrooms, two of which have fantastic views across the bay to The Island. The first bedroom has a 4ft 6 bed, USB ports and TV, the second a 2ft 6in bed and USB ports, and the third has 2 x 3ft beds and USB ports. There is also a bathroom with a bath, separate shower cubicle, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail. Stairs to the second-floor lead into a bedroom (open to stairs) with 2 x 3ft beds, USB ports, a TV and arguably the best view in the house across Porthmeor Beach and over to the Island. Island View also benefits from 2 outside areas, newly landscaped and complete with picnic bench and a viewing platform with seating at the top.

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

Parking: Parking for 1 car in a private car park located on Bishops Road (approx 10-15 minutes walk from the property).

NOTES: No smoking. No pets. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies.

Access Statement

Nearest unloading point is by the sea wall on the right. Do not leave vehicle unattended. Cross the tarmac road to the tarmac pathway (The Meadow) leading to Island View.

Parking is provided off sight at Bishops Road. A parking permit is provided with your keys on arrival.


PROPERTY ACCESS: From the tarmac pathway there are 15 stone steps leading to the front door.




STAIRS/STEPS: There are 10 steps to the first floor. Handrail on left hand side. A further 3 steps up to the bathroom with handrail on both sides. 3 steps to landing. 12 steps to attic with a handrail on the left hand side.


FLOORING: The lounge and bedrooms have carpet flooring. The lounge and dining area have wood flooring. The kitchen and bathroom have tiled floors.


BEDROOMS: Unrestricted access to all beds.


DUVETS AND PILLOWS: Duvets and Pillows are synthetic.

BATHROOMS: The downstairs shower room has a walk in shower with moveable shower head and fixed shower screen. The main bathroom has shower cubicle with moveable shower head and shower screen door. No grab rails on the bath.


LIVING AREA: Curtains to all windows. Ornamental fireplace in lounge.


GARDEN/EXTERNAL AREAS: Small yard and drying area to the rear of the property. Patio area to the front of the house.  17 small steep steps to gravelled level. 7 small steep steps to further gravelled level. Handrail to right hand side.




PETS: Not Accepted. Please enquire on booking regarding assistance dogs 


Beautiful property in a perfect location. We'll equipped and comfortable. Although parking is provided for 1 car it's not close to the property and loading and unloading can be quite stressful when it's busy. Overall a lovely home from home holiday house with amazing views.
