Overlooking the golden sands of Porthmeor, a perfect base to enjoy the famous surfing beach and the coastal walks.

The open plan Kitchen/Lounge/ Dining area has an Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge and TV/DVD Player and patio doors onto the balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the superb beach views. Off the entry hall is a Shower Room with shower cubicle, wc, wash basin and heated towel rail. The open staircase off the lounge (not suitable for very young children) leads to an extended gallery bedroom with 4ft x 6in bed, 2 x 3ft divans and wash basin. A sliding door separates the double and single beds for added privacy. Private access to the beach, weather permitting.

Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Night storage heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

PROPERTY NAME: 17 Barnaloft


PARKING: There is garage parking for one car. The garage is in the forecourt

ACCESS TO PROPERTY: The garage is accessed via a sloped tarmac entrance leading to the tarmac forecourt

PROPERTY ACCESS: From the garage, cross the tarmac forecourt to 6 concrete steps, turning to a further 13 steps, turning to a further 5 steps onto the walkway to the apartment front door. There is a small threshold step into the apartment


STAIRS/STEPS: There are steep, open tread stairs to the gallery bedrooms. There is a handrail to each side with wide set spindles to the left side (not suitable for very young children).

FLOORING: The flooring is carpet throughout except the kitchen and bathroom which is lino. 

BEDROOMS: There is access around all the beds, there is a folding door to seperate the double from the twins


BATHROOMS: Shower type: The shower cubicle has a small step to enter

LIVING AREA: There are curtains to all windows

GARDEN/EXTERNAL AREAS: Private slate balcony with furniture (please be aware that slate may become slippery).

This property is ideally suited to look out across Porthmeor beach, it has easy access to the town centre and restaurants and the best of all garage parking that can fit a normal sized car. We totally enjoyed our week staying there and will be back next year.

Fantastic location, stunning views and a great holiday let. It's our second stay and we absolutely love it. So convenient for the beach, the shops and restaurants. Most importantly you have use of a garage. I would highly recommend it.

The view from the Barnaloft flats is unbeatable. To be able to sit on your own balcony as the sun is setting in front of you and with the waves of a high tide crashing on the beach below is an unmissable experience. No.17 comes with the benefit of a garage which is worth it’s weight in gold as anyone familiar with St.Ives will know. The fact that we return year after year speaks volumes.
