This grade II listed former fisherman's cottage has been refurbished and well equipped combining modern comforts with traditional cottage style. It is arranged on 3 floors approached by 14 steps to the front door and has panoramic views from the top floor. The cottage is ideally situated within easy walking distance of beaches, harbour, shops and restaurants.

First Floor: Lounge with TV, DVD player and CD player/hi-fi. Kitchen/Dining room with hob/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/drier and dishwasher. Second Floor: Bedroom with 4ft 6in pine bed. Bedroom with 2 x 3ft beds. Bathroom with shower over the bath, wc and wash basin. Third/Attic Floor: Bedroom with views of the bay, harbour and town, 4ft 6in pine bed, TV and an en-suite shower room including wash basin and wc.

Changeover Day: Friday – arrival 7:00pm - departure 9:00am.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.2 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. No pets. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies. Narrow road leading up to the property and there is limited room for opening car doors, large cars may struggle with corners. 12 Steps to the front door with hand rail. Please note the top floor bedroom is open to the stairway.

PROPERTY NAME: Drake Cottage


PARKING: No allocated parking. The nearest public car park is The Island Car Park.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY:  Tarmac road and granite steps.

PROPERTY ACCESS: Brief drop off available in Teetotal Street at the bottom of the access steps.

PROPERTY INFORMATION: Access up three steps, then 9 then a further three to front door. Hand rail on left hand side.

STAIRS/STEPS:  Hand rail on Right hand side - one flight to 2 bedrooms and bathroom, then a further flight to ensuite master bedroom.

FLOORING: Carpets throughout with lino in bathrooms and kitchen.

BEDROOMS: Slightly restricted headroom in master bedroom. Access to 1 side of 1 of the twin beds only.


BATHROOMS: Shower over bath with curtain in main bathroom. Shower cubicle with door in ensuite.

LIVING AREA: Cord pull blinds to windows.
