Description

Shell Cottage is a lovely, comfortably furnished cottage suitable for holidays all year round. Situated in Downalong, one of the most sought after spots in St Ives, it is moments from both Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches, the harbour, Tate Gallery and the coastal path. Cars can pull up on the opposite side of the road to unload with the Island car park being just two minutes away.

Entrance through stable door into small porch. The cloakroom with wc and wash basin is off the porch. The comfortable lounge has TV/DVD Player, 4 seater sofa, armchair, seagrass flooring and window seat. The light and bright kitchen/dining area has a dining table, gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave and access to a small yard ideal for hanging clothes and drying wetsuits. There is a downstairs bathroom with shower over the bath, wash basin and towel rail. Polished, wooden stairs from the kitchen lead to the first floor (stair gates at top and bottom), where there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a 4ft 6in bed and the second bedroom has 2 x 2ft 6 beds, both have wardrobe and drawer space.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 dog, £20 per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Stair gate provided.
