Rose Lane is a pedestrian only cobbled street in the conservation area of Downalong, very close to the shops, harbour area and beaches. The accommodation is tastefully furnished in a contemporary coastal style and well maintained by the owner. Sea views from 2 bedrooms.

Lower Ground Floor: Kitchen/Breakfast Room with open beamed ceiling, tiled floor, Bosch fan oven and grill, electric hob, microwave, small TV, fridge, Bosch dishwasher and washing machine. Separate wc and back door to a covered courtyard area for hanging washing and storing surfboards etc and back alley to Fore street. Ground Floor: with main entrance onto Rose Lane. Large Lounge/Dining Room with real leather chairs, real flame/coal enclosed gas fire, TV, DVD player, LG multimedia player with bluetooth and DAB radio, small library of books, cast iron Victorian fireplace in dining room and table seating 5. First Floor: Main bedroom with 4ft 6in wrought iron and brass bed. Bedroom with sea views and colour washed pine ceilings and pretty 3ft cast iron single bed. Bathroom with shower over bath and wc. 10 narrow steep stairs to top attic floor with New England style decor with colour washed pine ceiling, 2 x 3ft beds and sea views over harbour and beyond.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Pets Welcome: Maximum 2 adult dogs, £25 per pet per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity and gas included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.

The is a small step required to access the property across the front door threshold into the Lounge/Dining room. There are steep stairs down to the lower floor which gives access to the kitchen/breakfast area with a seperate W/C and a back door leading out to a covered courtyard and this inturn leads into a back ally to Fore Street.

Returning to the Lounge/Dining room at the far end are the stairs leading up to the first floor with a bannister on the right hand side, from the first floor landing there is another set of stairs which are very steep and narrow leading upto the attic bedroom. The attic bedroom has restricted headroom due to the sloping ceilings.

FLOORING:

There are carpets in all bedrooms and in the lounge/dining room. The flooring in the kitchen is tiled while the bathroom has a lino covering.
