Located in the popular Downalong area of the town and with lots of character Killaganoon is a great base for a family holiday being just a short walk away from the lovely golden sands of Porthgwidden and Porthmeor and the harbour, shops and restaurants. The cottage, which has a flat above, also benefits from a small seating area to the front so that you can sit and watch the world go by.

The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a TV, DVD player, double sofa bed (for alternative sleeping arrangements) and an electric coal effect fire which is perfect for additional heating on those chilly winter evenings. The kitchen is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, table top freezer, slimline dishwasher and washing machine. Off the lounge is the bathroom with a small bath which has an electric shower over, wc, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Stairs from the lounge take you to the two bedrooms one with a 4ft 6in bed and the other with 2 x 3ft singles.

Pets Welcome: Up to 2 dogs welcome, £25 per pet per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Night storage heating throughout.
Bedding and Linen: Linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.

PARKING: No allocated parking. The nearest public long stay car park is the Island Car Park or alternatively Barnoon Car Park.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY: Tarmac road with slate slabs to the front door. All level.

PROPERTY ACCESS: Level access into property. No steps.


STAIRS/STEPS: From ground floor to first floor, there are 12 steps with a turn after the first step up. Handrail on the left.

FLOORING: Vinyl flooring in the bathroom and kitchen. All other rooms are carpeted.

BEDROOMS: Un-restricted access around beds.


BATHROOMS: Shower over bath with shower curtain. Moveable shower head.

LIVING AREA: Curtains to windows.

Loved our week’s stay at ‘Killaganoon’, perfect for us and our 2 spaniels. It was very useful having the little bit of outside space (a lovely sun trap and most enjoyable having a coffee and watching the “ world go by”). Also ideally situated close to ‘The Island’ which we visited frequently daily with our two 4-legged members of the family. We couldn’t have asked for more!
