Idlehour is a quaint and cosy fisherman's cottage ideally suited to families. Situated only 30 yards from the harbour and it's beautiful beach. The double bedroom has amazing views of the harbour and to Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond. Being located in the quieter old part of St Ives, the cottage is close to all beaches, cafes, restaurants and galleries.

Small outside seating area with table and chairs. Stable door entrance into sitting room with TV, DVD Player, Radio, ipod dock and coal effect gas fire. Kitchen/Diner with electric oven and gas hob, coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and understairs storage area. On the first floor is a Bedroom with 4ft bed, TV and spectacular views of the Harbour and across the bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. Shower room with power shower, wash basin, wc and heated towel rail. Bedroom with 2 x 3ft beds, TV,  travel cot, double wardrobe with drawer space and electric radiator.

Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot provided, but no cot linen. Highchair available on request.
Shop: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.2 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. No pets. WiFi provided. Mobile reception varies. Parking for one car in Space 50 on Porthgwidden Car Park.

PARKING: Designated parking Space 50 in Porthgwidden Car Park

ACCESS TO PROPERTY: The drop off point is to the front of the property on Back Road East (this is a through road therefore advise not to leave cars unattended). There is a small cobbled path leading down to the property entrance. Please note: we regret that property access is not suitable for wheelchairs.

PROPERTY ACCESS: There is a small slate step, with a doormat, at the property entance


STAIRS/STEPS: There is a staircase with 10 steps with a further 1 step to the left leading up to the first floor. There is a handrail on the left and a half hand rail further up on the right hand side.

FLOORING: The property has carpet thorughout except the kitchen and bathroom which is tiled. There a 2 door mats at the entrance and a rug in the centre of the living room.

BEDROOMS: Access for beds is one side only


BATHROOMS: There is a shower cubicle with a sliding glass folding door. There is a step up to enter.

LIVING AREA: The window in the living room has a slated blind with twist and turn and pull cord. There are also curtains. There is a coal open coal effect gas fire.

GARDEN/EXTERNAL AREAS: There is a small area at the front of the property with seating. Also shower head hose for use after beach days.

CHILD EQUIPMENT: Travel Cot. Highchair available on request.

PETS: Not Accepted.
