Reviews

The description for the property did not include that a studio apartment was below and due to the old style of the house, therefor, we endured banging on the ceiling and a letter from the occupants below for noise. Please consider adding this in the description. Whilst the house was cosy and homely, the property would benefit from some TLC especially the top bedroom which has some mould around the windows and curtains. The location was excellent and close to the car park and beach.

Mrs Kirsty H,

Booked for the location near Porthgwidden Beach. Kitchen could do with some sharper knives and a family sized saucepan, and a bit of washing line outside would be handy, but otherwise very, very happy with this property and will book again.

Ms Jacqueline D,

Windows didn’t open on first floor which was a major drawback. Very few working knives, blunt, one was loose and dangerous. Lack of cutlery in general. No loo brush!

Miss Janine D,

Lovely cottage but very squeaky bed in main bedroom and in need of sharper knives in kitchen.

Mrs Jayne H,

Fantastic stay

Mrs Laura B,

An ideally situated property within easy reach of both Porthgwidden and Porthmeor beaches.

Mrs H,

Position of the cottage is perfect , near porthgwidden beach . Quiet area but near to the shops and harbour

Mrs F,

Perfect location, close to three main beaches. Away from the business of Fore Street but close enough for easy access. Towels provided saved us a fair bit of luggage space and it was fully equipped. Clean and tidy on arrival, good information booklet with all the relevant info. Probably one of the nicest cottages we’ve stayed in in our 15 years visiting St Ives.

Mrs P,

Neptune cottage was the perfect cottage, clean, great facilities and set up in a perfect location so close to the beach. Will definitely be using again
