A traditional grade II listed fisherman's cottage in the Downalong area of St Ives which has been tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard. Conveniently situated between the harbour and Porthmeor Beach it is within easy reach of the shops, art galleries and restaurants.

5 steps from street to stable door entrance. Ground Floor: Lounge with electric fire, TV, DVD player and Bose ipod dock. Kitchen/breakfast room with electric oven and electric hob, washer/drier, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Shower room including wash basin and wc. First Floor: Bedroom with 4ft 6in bed and wash basin. Bedroom with 3ft bed.

Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

PROPERTY NAME: 41 Back Road West


PARKING: Parking for one car in Station Car Park

ACCESS TO PROPERTY: Tarmac road outside where loading and un-loading may be possible. Do not leave your vehicle unattended.

PROPERTY ACCESS: There are 7 granite steps leading up to the front door from the road/pavement. A hand rail is provided on the right hand side


STAIRS/STEPS: There are 10 stairs that are open on right hand side leading from the lounge to the first floor with bannister on the left hand side.

FLOORING: There are edging strips to all rooms, the lounge bedrooms, stair and landing are all carpeted while the kitchen and bathroom have tile flooring. There is a rug in the lounge.

BEDROOMS: There is good acess around the double bed but access to the single bed is limited to one side only.


BATHROOMS: Shower cubicle with shower curtain accessed via the kitchen

LIVING AREA: Curtains and pull-cord blinds.



PETS: Not Accepted. Please enquire on booking regarding assistance dogs


Beautiful little cottage in a central location really easy to drive to drop off and easy to pick up again. Definitely will be staying again

Just arrived home from another lovely week in St Ives , this is our 2nd visit stayedctge same week last year. Cottage is located perfectly to get around St Ives . Cottage is very comfortable and clean with everything we needed . We will definitely go back and are thinking of booking again for next year.

Lovely cosy property in the heart of the old fishing area. 2 minutes to the beaches, 1 minute to the harbour and pub - what's not to love! Reserved car parking at the station - 10 mins away. Remember that as stated the bathroom is downstairs!

Booked 41 Back Road West for the first 2 weeks of November, the property was spotless, warm and comfortable so ended up staying for a 3rd week. Best one we've stayed in to date and will hopefully be back there soon

Have stayed at 41 Back Road West several times as it is perfect for 2 or 3 adults requiring 2 bedrooms. Very cosy in cold months - heats up quickly. Now the property has been upgraded with new decor and wifi and best of all an allocated car park space in the Station car park. Car parking in St Ives is now very tricky so this allotted space is a great advantage. Have already booked a return visit.
