Located in the popular Downalong area within minutes walk of the harbour, town and beaches, Penny's Place makes an ideal base for a family holiday. The open plan kitchen and dining area leads out to the courtyard/patio area to the rear.

There are 5 steps up to the front entrance with a further 12 steps down to the hallway. Off the hallway are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (4'6") and one with two singles (3'). The bathroom has a bath with shower over, wc, wash basin and heated towel rail. At the end of the hallway is the lounge/ kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/ dryer, microwave and breakfast bar for dining. The lounge area has a Smart TV and DVD player and doors to the courtyard/patio. 

Pets Welcome: Maximum 1; £25 per pet per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating. 
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels and cot linen
Baby Equipment: Travel cot and highchair available.

From the tarmac road there are 5 slate steps to the shared front door which opens on small lobby. Behind the property front door there are 12 Steep narrow steps (may not be suitable for young children or those with restricted movement) to Lower Ground Floor. There is a handrail to the left when descending the first 7 steps.


Carpets are fitted in the hallway and bedrooms. Wooden laminate is fitted in the living area. Tiles are fitted in the bathroom.

BEDROOMS: No restrictions

Shower type: Shower over bath.

Blinds – cord pull.

Courtyard. Emergency access over this area is granted to adjacent property.

CHILD EQUIPMENT: Travel cot and highchair provided. Please bring own cot linen

PETS: 1 pet accepted


Penny’s Place is in a great location and perfect for a short walk to the beaches and harbour. Suitable for adults but not young children or the elderly with the stairs down into the apartment. It was clean and comfortable and we had a great holiday. I would definitely book it again. Thank you St Ives holidays.

Great location, just a couple of minutes walk from beaches and harbour, but still peaceful & relaxing. Recently decorated, everything was fresh and clean. Great place to stay, owners very friendly.
