Description

Located in the popular Downalong area within minutes walk of the harbour, town and beaches, Penny's Place makes an ideal base for a family holiday. The open plan kitchen and dining area leads out to the courtyard/patio area to the rear.

Access is either up 5 steps or through the blue double doors of Ponckles Place on Back Road East. From the front entrance there’s a further 12 steps down to the hallway or from the double doors walk along to the end of the passageway (two steps) through green gate to courtyard area and enter the property by patio (double) doors. From the lounge/kitchen and dining area is the hallway with two bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, breakfast bar and fold down dining table with four folding chairs. In the lounge area is a Smart TV two side tables, three seater sofa and reclining chair. Off the hallway are the two bedrooms, one with a double bed (4’6”) and one with two singles (3’). The bathroom has a full size bath with shower over, wc, wash basin and heated towel rail.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 1; £25 per pet per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating. 
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels and cot linen

From the tarmac road there are 5 slate steps to the shared front door which opens on small lobby. Behind the property front door there are 12 Steep narrow steps (may not be suitable for young children or those with restricted movement) to Lower Ground Floor. There is a handrail to the left when descending the first 7 steps.

Reviews

Penny’s Place is in a great location and perfect for a short walk to the beaches and harbour. Suitable for adults but not young children or the elderly with the stairs down into the apartment. It was clean and comfortable and we had a great holiday. I would definitely book it again. Thank you St Ives holidays.

Great location, just a couple of minutes walk from beaches and harbour, but still peaceful & relaxing. Recently decorated, everything was fresh and clean. Great place to stay, owners very friendly.
