Formerly a fisherman’s cottage, this delightful home has been lovingly renovated into the perfect bolthole for a St Ives holiday for two.

Lose yourself in Cornish culture and legend, with a romantic getaway in St Ives. The picturesque town has everything you could want from a seaside resort, including sandy beaches, a pretty harbour, and fabulous eateries. This former fisherman’s cottage is full of character and is right in the heart of the town, allowing you to easily explore on foot. After a day at the beach, return to your cosy bolthole to snuggle up on the sofa with a glass of wine. Enjoy many day trips from the property, including to Seal Island (3.5 miles by boat) and St Michael’s Mount (9 miles).

The cute cottage has a home-away-from-home vibe and is decorated in warm tones to create a cosy atmosphere. Rustle up a tasty meal in the kitchen area, which has been cleverly designed to make maximum use of the space. Stretch out on the plump sofa in the lounge area to watch TV or read a book, before climbing the cottage-style stairs to the contemporary double bedroom. There is no outdoor space with this property, but with the gorgeous Porthmeor Beach less than 0.5 miles away, it’s easy to fill the lungs with sea air before breakfast.

There’s never a dull moment in St Ives, with so much to see and do. After a few days at one of St Ives’ four sandy beaches, why not head into the town to explore? As well as numerous cafes and restaurants serving delicious Cornish dishes, you’ll also notice an abundance of galleries, showcasing local talent. The town has always been a magnet for artists, and this is celebrated at the magnificent Tate St Ives, where you can admire a huge variety of contemporary art, and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, which is a must for all art enthusiasts.

We just come back from staying here, wih our dog Henry. We stayed for week. We had a great time a st Ives. The cottage is great value money right in the middle of the village. Everything's is on yur door step. It is a little noisy however st Ives is no small town. Also they do a basic sky, but press the Netflix button enter your details and like usRead more you have Netflix. The cottage was very clean and had everything to we needed. A ture fishman cottage that we will have great memories of. Many thanks Hide

A lovely holiday cottage located in the centre of St Ives. Unfortunately cleanliness was disappointing but despite this we had a great stay.
