This three-bedroom detached house is situated in a quiet corner of St Ives and is just a short walk down to the town and Porthmeor beach. Carnew, meaning 'stack of stones’ in Cornish, was built in 1952, in a rocky field which was originally part of one of the three farms in Burthallan Lane. It has been a family home since then, with a tradition of welcoming guests from around the world. The aerial photo in the hallway was taken in 1993 and shows Carnew and its surrounding land. Carnew is set over two floors and is well-equipped throughout with everything needed for a relaxing family holiday. The property enjoys sea views from the first floor and benefits from a large enclosed garden that completely surrounds the property with ample room for parking.

Three steps up to the front door which leads into entrance hallway. Lounge with large Freeview TV, three-seater sofa and two seats. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and back door to the garden. Kitchen den/conservatory area with comfy armchair and lots of books to read. Dining room with round dining table and chairs. Bedroom with 4ft 6ins double bed, bedside units. Small shower cubicle with basin. Ground floor WC. Stairs lead up to the first floor landing.
