This property is beautiful. It has all the amenities you could wish for in a holiday let, there was nothing more we could of asked for. The property is extremely well cared for and finished to an incredibly high standard. The view from the main bedroom is stunning, overlooking Carbis bay which is just a short stroll to the beach. One of the things that I was so impressed with was the welcome pack the owners left for us on our arrival along with a large welcome hamper. The welcome pack included so much useful information even down to bus and train timetables into surrounding areas along with ideas of things to do and a how to guide on how to use every single appliance in the house. I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday let to anyone else and we will definitely be coming back again! Thank you for a wonderful holiday
Brilliant house, so well equipped with everything you need (and dont need).Even a proper coffee machine. Amazing welcome pack which was great on arrval. So clean and comfortable. Great garden, and sun trap at side of house. Beach a 15 min walk down hill, and reguar busses and trains into St Ives. Hopefully will return.
Located on the outskirts of St Ives, Carbis Bay is one of Cornwall's five award-winning Blue Flag beaches. Carbis Bay is a large sandy beach which is excellent for bathers or small children, as the waters generally always remain calm with watersports such as kayaking and stand up paddleboarding on offer. Dogs are welcome in winter, or in the early mornings during the main season.
Carbis Bay is just a short train ride to the centre of picturesque St Ives or you can take a leisurely stroll along the coastal path to St Ives, Lelant or the nearby town of Hayle. Bird watchers can walk along the east side of the beach at low tide where you'll find Porth Kidney and the RSPB bird sanctuary, an important home for seabirds.
