Treat your family to a lovely relaxing getaway in Carbis Bay, Cornwall. This flat is ideal for a group who want to play in the sea and explore the twists and turns of St Ives and then return to a clean, comfortable place to rest and enjoy each other’s company.

This property is on two levels and set down from the allocated parking spot and on the ground floor of a larger building. As you enter, you’ll find a modern, well-equipped kitchen with gleaming countertops. Follow through and down 5 steps, to the lounge and dining area, perfect for socialising after a long day and organising a film night. Finally, there are two bedrooms, one king size and a twin, perfect for couples or families. Each room has been tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable so you wake, well rested and ready for the day ahead. You’ll have access to two outdoor spaces: a private patio and communal gardens where you can take in the glorious sea view and enjoy dining alfresco in the beautiful, cornish sunshine.

The Carbis Bay Beach is only 500 metres away, so you can easily head down, via the 'secret' garden gate for an early-morning dip. The local branch train station is also on hand from where the train runs along the coast into St Ives and within minutes you can be exploring the twists and turns of the bustling harbour town with its many restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries including the Barbara Hepworth museum and the Tate Modern gallery. From Rosen you can also take a scenic 20 minute walk into St Ives and there are other beaches close by including Porthmeor (1.5 miles), great for surfers with a surf school for beginners. If you’d prefer riding horses to riding waves, visit the Old Mill Riding Stables (2.5 miles) for hacks along the coast. Take a walk to Clodgy Point (2.5 miles) where you can see sea lions or try Penwith Heritage Coast (17.5 miles) for native horses. Finish your holiday with a trip to Land’s End (17.5 miles) or an afternoon of ice creams and souvenir shopping in St Ives (2 miles).

Liked the property and location, very comfortable. Other companies have left a welcome pack i.e. some milk, would have been nice as a gesture
