Where do I pick up my keys?
Keys can be collected from our offices at High Street, St Ives, TR26 1RS from 3pm on the day of arrival Monday to Saturday. See below for Sunday arrivals.
When can I get my keys?
Keys are available from 3pm. If you arrive early, please pop into our office and leave a mobile number with us. If your property is ready before 3pm we will contact you.
After 5pm and on Sundays (or 6pm on Saturdays from 21st July to 25th August 2018) keys are automatically taken across to the Queens Hotel opposite our offices who have kindly agreed to hold our keys until 9pm.
If you anticipate arriving after 9pm we suggest contacting DJ Cars (01736 796633) who will collect your keys from us and meet you with them. They will make a small charge for this. We regret that any keys not collected by 9pm will not be available until 9am the following morning.
Unless individual details state that there is a garage or space for a car you will have to use one of the local Car Parks. All parking including reserved spaces are at the car owner's risk.
Visitors can purchase a weekly "Countywide Rover" ticket in advance from Cornwall County Council for £47.00 (2017 price). Weekly "Rover" tickets are valid on most Long Stay car park throughout the County. Please see council website for full terms and conditions. Note: weekly tickets do not guarantee a space but can be used in most council long stay car park. For details on how to apply see Cornwall County Council Website
If purchasing tickets in individual carparks, please read the signs carefully. Some machines sell tickets for indidividual car parks only, some for St Ives only, and some sell County Wide Rover tickets. The Island carpark includes a card machine for tickets, but no longer accepts cash for weekly tickets. Trenwith Car Park is manned in high season.
Phone and Pay is available in most Council Car Parks. Note: These tickets cover individual Car Parks only. For details on how to register see Phone and Pay on Cornwall County Council Parking Website

I am arriving by train/coach, can I arrange for a taxi to pick me up? Where can I leave my luggage?
I am arriving by train/coach, Can I arrange for a taxi to pick me up?
Yes. Please contact DJ Cars on 01736 796633. They can collect your key from us first and then collect you from the station when you arrive if you ask them. They will make a small charge for this.
Where can I leave my luggage?
If you arrive before your property is ready, you are welcome to leave your luggage at our offices.
Vacating your property on the day of departure
All properties MUST be vacated by 10am on the departure day. Keys must then be handed back to our office by 10.30am that day. We are afraid that this cannot be extended as properties must then be prepared for the next visitors.
Where parking is provided with the property, this must also be vacated at 10am.
Although properties are cleaned between bookings you are expected to keep and leave the property in a clean and tidy state.

Priority rebooking… we’ve changed things up a little
You may remember previously rebooking the holiday home you just stayed in using a little printed form.
We’re delighted to announce that we’re trying to do our bit for the planet, so have decided there will be no more little printed forms because we’ve gone digital! But don’t worry, these changes make it even simpler for you.
What happens now?
Every year in June we release the next 12 months of availability for all our holiday homes. We don’t announce this information to the public via our website until July. This gives you, as our wonderful, loyal customer until the end of June to priority rebook the holiday home where you just stayed.
So as a previous visitor to this holiday home, you’ll become one of the first to know when it’s available to rebook!
What do you need to do?
You don’t have to do a thing. We’ll send you an email (or letter if we don’t have your email) in June. We’ll let you know that the holiday home has renewed with us again for next year and details on how to make your priority rebooking.
Want to come on holiday again before June 2018?
That’s even easier. Simply book where you want to go via our website (or call us) and a little discount expressing our gratitude will automatically be deducted from your booking (isn’t technology marvellous!)
St Ives is the perfect destination for a short break. Please search online for short stays or contact one of our team who will be happy to help you.
If you would like to take a short break please contact us where our staff will be happy to help you. We offer short breaks of three-six nights all year round in almost all of our beautiful cottages. Whatever the time of year, and no matter how long you can spend here, we’re sure to have something to suit.
Short breaks are charged as follows: 75% of week price for 3 nights; 80% of week price for 4 nights; 85% of week price for 5 nights; 90% of week price for 6 nights.
Changing a booking
Once a booking has been confirmed the booking cannot be changed to another property except by dealing with the booking as a cancellation (see cancellation). The dates of a booking may be changed within the same calendar year if available and the owner agrees in which case a transfer fee of £15.00 will be payable.
Cancelling your holiday
If you need to cancel your holiday, contact St Ives Holidays by telephone, email or in writing. Please see our Booking Conditions for full details.
Do you accept group bookings? Is there an age limit?
St Ives Holidays reserves the right to accept/refuse bookings at their discretion.
