Dating back to the middle of
the 19th century, this former fisherman’s cottage is located in the
heart of Downalong, close to the beaches, harbour and shops. There
is an excellent view of the harbour and St. Ives Bay from the second floor
lounge. The property retains some of its original charm with
exposed beams and wooden floors. The accommodation is on four levels with
steep stairs to the lower and top floor and may not be suitable for the elderly
& toddlers.
Entrance up four steps to Ground Floor: Kitchen with open beam ceiling,
natural wood stained floor, electric cooker, microwave, fridge
washing machine and tumble drier. Dining room with natural wood stained floor and
colour TV with DVD. Trap door leading down to Bedroom with 4ft 6in
divan, washbasin and ensuite shower and wc. Shower room and wc. (Emergency exit door).
First Floor: Bedroom with 2 x 3ft divans. Bathroom with shower
over bath and wc. Steep staircase leading to Second Floor: Lounge
with a roof top view of the harbour from the velux window, double bed settee,
chest of drawers (no wardrobe), colour TV, DVD/CD player and video.
Electricity - Inclusive.
Heating – four portable heaters and three fixed heaters. Duvets provided,
but visitors must bring bed linen including covers. No parking. No
Smoking. No pets. Damage Deposit £100.
