The Old Pressing is situated on famous surfing beach of Porthmeor between Barnaloft and the slipway. Although it is right in the heart of one of the most popular areas in St Ives The Old Pressing Yard is tucked away off Porthmeor Road giving it a quiet private aspect.  Now converted into 2 high quality houses the properties benefit from parking, private access directly onto the beach (weather and sand levels permitting), beach shower facilities and sunny balconies off the living rooms. They are ideally situated for the family holiday in the picturesque old quarter of St Ives and only a few minutes walk from the shops and harbour. 


 

   
 

 


This prestigious modern house situated in a prime position on Porthmeor Beach is arranged on three floors. The ground floor is a garage/utility area with direct pedestrian access to the beach, this area also houses a washing machine, tumble drier, double hot and cold shower, wc and beach equipment store. Car access from Porthmeor Road is 6ft 6in wide and 5ft 9in high maximum.

Refurbished in 2008. External stairs to the First Floor: Entrance hall, cloakroom with wash basin and wc. The open plan kitchen and lounge/diner have breathtaking views of the sea. French windows open onto a balcony (4.2 x 1.4 metres) overlooking the beach. Fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric cooker, extractor hood, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. There is a bed/settee in the lounge/diner with TV, DVD, video and music centre. A wide spiral staircase leads to the Second Floor. Bedroom 1 has wonderful sea/beach views, 4ft 6in bed and fitted wardrobe. Bedroom 2 overlooking the courtyard has 2 x 3ft divans and fitted wardrobe. Bathroom with sea view has a shower over bath, wash basin and wc. Large separate heated airing cupboard. The accommodation throughout is to a high standard with comfortable furnishings, fitted carpets and double glazing. 

Electricity/gas inclusive. Heating - full gas central heating. Duvets and linen provided. Parking for 1 car in garage. No Smoking. No pets. Damage deposit £100.

Short breaks are charged as follows:
60% of week price for 3 nights; 70% of week price for 4 nights; 80% of week price for 5 nights;
