A well equipped, comfortable fisherman’s cottage in the Downalong area of St Ives which was completely refurbished in 2005.  It blends the traditional features of the original stone wall, ship’s timber lintels and panel/hinged doors with modern amenities such as gas central heating.  The cottage is ideally situated within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants, harbour, beaches and Tate Gallery and has been tastefully decorated throughout with matching carpets, curtains and new furniture.  The soft furnishings compliment the layout and style of a traditional Cornish cottage.        

Ground Floor: Open the front door to an open-plan lounge and stairs to the first floor.  The lounge has a large TV with video and DVD player with a contemporary style three piece suite and window seat where you can sit and relax.  There is also a CD/radio/cassette.  The lounge then leads through to a kitchen/diner.  The kitchen is well equipped with fan-assisted oven, gas hob, fridge, microwave, washer/drier and dishwasher.  There is a stable door out to the rear of the property.  First Floor:  Double bedroom with king size bed and colour TV.  Bedroom with 3ft bunk beds and colour TV.  Bathroom with shower over bath, wash basin and wc.  Attic:  Staircase leading to an additional open plan bedroom with double 4ft 6in bed, colour TV and en-suite with shower, hand basin and wc.      

Electricity/gas – inclusive.  Heating – gas central heating.  Duvets and bed linen provided.  No parking.  No pets.  No smoking.  Damage deposit £100.

Short breaks are charged as follows:
60% of week price for 3 nights; 70% of week price for 4 nights; 80% of week price for 5 nights;
with minimum a charge of: £140 for 2 persons per week plus £20 per additional person.
