The St Ives Lifeboat
returns with a fishing boat which had engine failure
during a night passage from Padstow to Hayle
The lifeboat was launched in the dark at 05.30 on Saturday 2nd April,
and returned
2 hours later to a breathtaking sunrise on what turned out to be a beautiful
spring day
As you can see the fishing boat and it's crew were fine
The Lifeboat is a relief boat The
Royal Shipwright which we were using while
our main boat The Princess Royal had her 5 yearly refit
The Princess Royal was back on duty in St Ives in July
