2009 Photo Competition

The 2009 St Ives Holidays Photo Competition was once again a great success with many noteworthy entries.

The winner, who won the £200 first prize, was Mr K Fitzpatrick from Lancashire with the following entry.The Judges liked the unusual composition of the photograph leaving the viewer feeling like they are flying behind the parachute but retaining a familiar view of the beach and Island.

St Ives with its surrounding coast and countryside
 is a very special place and for over 100 years artists have been visiting to try and capture this. 

To add a bit of fun to your holiday with us we are
 holding a photo competition and will be offering
a prize of £200 to our favourite entry.

Entries must be taken during your stay with us
and can be of any subject that you feel shows
 why the area is special.

Entry Conditions

1. One photograph may be entered by each
 person staying with St Ives Holidays in 2010,
i.e. if your holiday party contains 4 people,
 each of them may enter a photograph

2. Photographs must be taken during
your stay in St Ives

3. We regret that we are unable to return any entries

4. Pictures will be judged by the Directors and
staff of Lanhams Ltd. and their decision is final.
 No correspondence will be entered into regarding
the competition except to contact the winner.

5. Commendations will be given to the judges
favourite entries and these will be displayed
on our web site. One prize of £200 will be
given to the overall winner.

6. The winner will be contacted by the end of
January 2011 and the winning entry and winners
name will displayed on our web site.

7. Copyright for all entries will remain with
Lanhams Ltd. and may be used in publicity
material  for Lanhams or St Ives Holidays

Email your photograph to photo@stivesholidays.com
with the subject line containing your booking reference number and the entrants name. Please only send one photograph in each email.

Pictures emailed should be in either
JPG or TIFF format

or 

Post your photograph with your booking reference number and name written on the back to
